Our exhibitions

Guido Crepax was the first comic artist to have his works exhibited in an art gallery. This makes him a true “boundary-crossing author”, standing at the intersection between comics — which brought him international fame — and contemporary art, where his early appearances caused quite a stir. Over the course of his thirty-year career, more than thirty exhibitions were dedicated to his work, most of them hosted by private galleries and, in later years, by several public museums.

Archivio Crepax has gone even further, producing dozens of successful exhibitions in both public venues and private galleries, in Italy and abroad. Between exhibitions and public installations, shows created for comic festivals in Italy and overseas, group exhibitions, special events commissioned by companies, and numerous solo shows in private galleries, more than seventy initiatives proudly bear the Archivio’s signature.
